I enjoyed the twist at the end of the novel. It surprised me and I thought that it was a very weird and unexpected ending. I thought that Thalia was never going to come back as her human form, just stay as a tree. But that happened for a reason so, you can't complain. My opinion on cliff-hanger endings is that if there is going to be a cliff hanger ending, there should be a sequel to that book. In Charlotte Doyle, the book ended with her sailing off on the Seahawk. It was a cliff-hanger ending and there is no sequel to he book. In that case it's fine, because the sequel to that book would probably be very boring, so that's fine in that case. or The Sea Of Monsters, there is still Luke trying to get the Golden Fleece, Tyson going to Poseidon to make tools for Camp Half Blood, Kronos might be coming back to life, and Thalia is back to life. There has to be a sequel, otherwise the fans and readers would be very disappointed.

The twist at the end was great, but there's just one thing, I HATE cliffhangers. And apparently Rick Riordan loves them. Why, Rick Riordan, why?
I've already read the series, so I know what happens, so I guess I'm OK with it. Rick Riordan made a second series and the newest book has a MAJOR cliffhanger in it, so now I have to wait until Fall to find out what happens, and because of that I dislike cliffhangers even more. Like Sherlock pointed out, there should be a sequel to a book if it has a cliffhanger ending.

I do not like cliff-hangers, so I did not the cliff-hanger at the end of Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters. I did not like how Thalia comes back to life and boom! It's over. I want to know what happens because I have not read any Percy Jackson books before and the only one I have read was Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters. Then you have the fact that Kronos may come back to life. So, I can't wait to watch the Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters movie.

I just loved the twist at the end when the fleece does more of its job and Thalia( daughter of Zues) comes to life. I love cliffhangers because it makes me want to read more and I get to know what happens more with Percy on his adventures. The thing I hate about cliffhangers is when its the last book of the series and its something good but you can't read it anymore because it's the end.

I thought the twist was very clever. I enjoyed it a lot. But I truly hate cliff hangers and surprises so I wish the story would have gone on more but I did like the story line at the end. I thought it was smart because it gave suspense, mystery and action. It also made you feel like you wanted to read more and more.

I LOVED IT!
It was completely unexpected. I liked this cliffhanger because it opens up so many different options. Thalia can now either side with Luke or Percy. She can go to camp and be a fifth member on quests. She might end up being Percy's enemy or best friend.
I think that once Thalia is updated on all her options and brought back to a calm state, she will side with Luke. Her father turned her into a tree, so she might have anger towards him and want to help Luke destroy him.
I always wondered what adventures would have been like and what the friendships would have been like if Thalia was alive. She was mentioned a few times and seemed like an interesting halfblood. I am very happy with the ending and will read the next book now that Thalia is back!

I like the twist at the ending. I like it, because I like it when the author leaves the reader hanging so that people, can continue reading their books, to make money, and to make them more wiser, and smart. I had some idea that once the golden fleece, heals Thalia's tree, Thalia will come alive, because I have seen that happen before in a t.v. show that I have watched last year or so.

I love the twist at the end! Thalia was a topic that was not explained very well in the book and it was great to know that the next book with give stories about her and an new adventure! I also like how the book described Thalia as a goth/punk girl and that was suspicious. I like cliff hangers because they make me read more! I can't stop reading right after a cliff hanger which is an exciting feeling.
