He selects Clarisse. (or clarrise I don't know) I agree with this decision for a few reasons. 1) Luke never expected it to happen, Luke thought Percy was going to be the hero of the day so he chased Percy. 2) Clarisse is really tough. Like super tough. So her running with the fleece all alone made more sense than sending someone who was weak on their own. Also it made no sense to keep her around. Like her father, Ares, Clarisse is very thick-headed so if she stayed, she would probably would have provoked Luke to attack them even faster than he did.

i agree with this because sending someone like clarisse is very unpredictable because most people(luke and the others) will expect percy to be take the pride for himself. Also they will also think clarisse will be with percy but since percy choose her, luke and the others will be looking for percy AND clarisse. But they wont find her since shes way ahead and the fleece is with her

But the thing is, the quest for the Golden Fleece was assigned to Clarisse, not Percy. How would you like it if you got assigned to be class president for the day, but I think you're not fit for the job and help you, and take over? That's how Clarisse is feeling now.

Percy choose Clarisse to take the fleece back to camp. I agree with his choice first clarisse is able to handle herself and fight her way out of things,(finding percy) and second Luke will expect percy to take the fleece and be the hero of camp AGAIN, so when he eventually finds percy, he'll be looking for clarisse and the fleece, but sadly she already on her way back. Also i think ares(clarisse godfather) will protect her while shes about to be a hero of camp. In conclusion remeber when tantalus wanted clarisse to go on the adventure instead of percy, looks like he got his wish right not knowing the truth. (thats of course when clarisse arrives at camp)

Percy chooses Clarisse to take the Golden Fleece back to camp. I don't exactly think that leaving her with the Golden Fleece is a good idea. Clarisse, Annabeth, Thalia and Luke used to be best friends and hang out together. If Luke gets to Camp Half Blood at the same time as Clarisse, then he might convince her to give him the Golden Fleece, like he tried to do with Percy. He told Percy that he could use the Golden Fleece first, then he could use it after. I think we all know we can't trust Luke, and that he's probably lying. But then again, Clarisse's father is Ares, god of war. If Luke and his "posse" go after Clarisse, she will be ready for a fight. Plus, Luke thought that Percy had the Golden Fleece, but he didn't so it was a smart move to give the Golden Fleece to Clarisse. Also in the prophecy, it indirectly said that Percy had to send someone, (which was Clarisse) to fly home. So that was a big sign that he should send Clarisse.

Percy chooses Clarrise because last summer Percy had his time shine and now its someone else's turn to shine. Also Ares said that if Clarrise doesn't bring the fleece to camp she will see the worst of him so Percy decided to give it to her. Also last summer Percy has been accused for stealing the lightning bolt but he did prove that he is innocent by going to a wild adventure. The prophecy did say that somebody will have to fly home.

I liked your ideas to prove your point.
If you were a god, wouldn't you have the ability to turn to a human form and secretly watch your child?
And you said "somebody had to fly home", couldn't it be Percy who flew home?

Percy couldn't fly home because Zeus would be infuriated and blast him out of the sky.
Also, the prophecy was directed towards Clarisse.
I believe it said "And fail without friends, to fly home alone." You is used several times, so it's meant for Clarisse.
And the Ancient Law says gods can not interfere with the life of their demigod children.

Percy gives the fleece to Clarisse and sends her back on a flight. He gave her the fleece because it was her quest and he remembered clarisses visit with her father.
I agree with what Percy did. He was kind enough to realize that it was Clarisse who was chosen to go on the quest and not him. He could have taken the fleece and gone on the flight himself, but he made a wise decision instead. He saved Clarisse the embarrassment of coming back empty handed. I don't actually believe he saved her from getting trouble of her father because he is god. I'm sure he was watching over her the whole time and knew Percy had to give her the fleece, but Percy's intentions were good. Percy was also smart enough to slow Luke down and give Clarisse more time to get the fleece back to camp.
I do fear that Clarisse will run into Luke somewhere on her journey, but it seems that in every single big situation a large group or someone who hasnt been in the story awhile comes rushing in to save the day. (Chiron, Tyson, Clarisse ) So I'm not too worried that she won't have back up.

Percy's a sympathetic guy, so as much as he hated Clarisse, he knew it would suck to have someone to steal the glory. Plus ideally Luke would chase Percy since he's Poseidon's child and the chosen one. Since he lured Luke into a fight for his dignity, he chose to use his wits to call out the truth to Camp Half Blood. Plus the prophecy required Clarisse to fly home. Overall, it was a risk worth taking.

Percy decided to let Clarisse bring the Fleece back to camp for a few reasons:
1. He remembered Clarisse's conversation with her dad, Ares.
2. He can't fly, if he does, Zeus will blast him to pieces.
3. The prophecy says so!
I agree with his decision, because I would have done the same thing, for the same reasons.

Percy Jackson selects Clarisse to take the golden fleece back to Camp Half-Blood. I agree with this decision because Ares, god of war and Clarisse's father, said, or rather yelled that Clarisse that she better not mess up this mission. I also agree with this decision because Luke would have gotten the golden fleece if Percy Jackson had not sent the golden fleece ahead with Clarisse.

Percy selects Clarisse, to take the Golden Fleece back to Camp Half-Blood to save/ cure Thalia. I kind of agree, and kind of not for some typical reasons, such as:
KIND OF AGREE:
I kind of agree, because people at the camp, and her chose her to go to the Sea of Monsters, to get the Golden Fleece from Polyphemus, to save Thalia's tree. Percy is letting her take the fleece, and return it to the camp, because it is her quest, and Percy is giving Clarisse a chance to try to save the camp.
KIND OF DISAGREE:
I kind of disagree, because from the previous years that Clarisse has known Percy, she hasn't been very nice, and truthful to everyone, mostly Percy.

He chooses Clarisse and i don't think it's a good idea because i think she will go on to do something very dumb. And i don't think she should have taken it back.

Percy chooses Clarisse. I think it is a good idea because it was unexpected and Percy could deal with Luke without Clarisse doing something stupid. I also think he made part of the decision with emotion, so he felt good inside.
