In Harry Potter, they had an invisibility cloak. Harry used the invisibility cloak to sneak into Hogsmeade when his guardians didn't sign his permission slip. Harry found a secret passageway where the witch statue was, and walked through the tunnel with his invisibility cloak. The passageway lead to the cellar in Honeydukes, where Harry exited the sweet shop and got into Hogsmeade village. In The Hobbit, they had an invisibility cloak too. Bilbo would sneak into Smaug's jewel infested lair and steal stuff. One time Smaug sensed something was trying to take some of his hoard, and started talking to the invisible thing which was Bilbo in his invisibility cloak. They had a long conversation and Smaug didn't find out it was Bilbo. In Percy Jackson, they have an invisibility cap. Annabeth put on the invisibility cap and pretended that she was Nobody, Polyphemus's enemy from centuries ago. She got caught by Polyphemus and he threw her to the ground and she became unconscious.
Harry Potter used the invisibility cloak how most people would if they had one, to sneak into places they aren't supposed to be in. Harry Potter uses it the worst. The Hobbit used the invisibility cloak to steal jewels from a dragon. The Hobbit used it pretty well. Percy Jackson used the invisibility cloak to trick a cyclops into thinking that he was someone else. Percy Jackson used it the best.

I made a mistake. Bilbo used his ring not a cloak.

In Harry Potter he did go to Hogsmede without permission and he used the cloak of invisiblity. In the Hobbit Bilbo used the invisbility ring from Gollum to sneak into Smaug's jewel room. In percy jackson Annebeth had a invisbility hat which her mother Athena gave to her. She used it to sneak into Luke's cabin in the ship.

It seems to me that Bilbo used the ring for a lot more than just to steal a gem from Smaug.

In Harry Potter, Harry has a cloak which turns him invisible. It is very useful in certain situations. Some situations are sneaking into Honeydukes (I think thats the name) or by getting into the restricted section of the libary like in one of the HP movies
Bilbo Baggins is a Hobbit that does not want anything to do with an adventure. But later on in the first movie of the Hobbit Bilbo runs into Gollum/Smeagul and finds a ring, he then gets challenged to a riddle battle and he wins. He runs away from Gollum and accidentally slips the ring on. He turns invisible. The ring in my opinion is alot more handier because it is small and you just need to do is slip it in your pocket, its alot more mobile.

In Harry Potter, Harry Potter uses the cloak of invisibility given by his father to sneak into Hogsmeade when Uncle Vernon didn't sign his slip, Harry Potter used the cloak to sneak into a secret passage way to get into Honeydukes and Harry uses the cloak of invisibility to listen to Professor McGonalgal taking to Fudge about Sirius Black. The Hobbit, Bilbo uses the ring to run away from Golum when he was about to eat him, Bilbo uses the ring in the forest ehrn the forest was plying tricks on the party and Bilbo uses the ring to sneak into Smaug's cave to get a coin and a golden cup. Percy Jackson, Annabeth uses the cap of invisibility to get to Percy Jackson's school and to insult Polyphemus into thinking that she is nobody. Bilbo get addicted to the ring and puts his grandson in danger, Harry Potter uses the cloak to find out information and to go to he village and Annabeth uses it to trick and insult Polyphemus. Annabeth uses it the best.

Harry Potter: in Harry Potter invisibility is used in the form of a cloak. Harry's father passed on the cloak to Harry. Harry uses the cloak for fun to sneak into Hogsmeade.
Annabeth: In Percy Jackson Annabeth has a invisiblity cap. Annabeth uses her cap to sneak into the cave and distract Polyphemus.
The Hobbit: In the Hobbit Bilbo finds the ring of Invisibility. Bilbo uses the ring to escape past Gollum. Bilbo also uses the ring on the rest of his journey. Bilbo uses he ring very responsibly.
In my opinion i think the ring is used best in the hobbit because most of the book is based on the ring. THe hobbit also leads on to The lord of the rings which is based on the ring.

Harry Potter - Harry receives an invisibility cloak from his father on Christmas and uses it to go through a secret door to hogsmeade. Harry couldn't go to hogsmeade like everyone else because be didn't have a guardian to sign his form and he was in danger since black was on the loose.
Hobbit- bilbo uses a ring he found during his encounter with Gollum. Bilbo uses the ring to escape Gollum, hide from the big war,get into smaugs lair and sneak out of the castle to give away the arkenstone.( probably more that I forgot)
Percy Jackson - Annabeth uses a cloak to trick the cyclops. She teases him and buys time. She uses the name "nobody" and gets caught by the cyclops. The cyclops drops her and she lands on her head, which made her to weak for the rest of the adventure out of the cyclops island.
I would give Harry potter a 7/10 because he used it in a sneaky way and for a good reason. It was unfair that he couldn't go since his guardians were mortals.
I would give the hobbit a 8/10 because he found it in a unique way. He used it for better reason than Harry and saved lives.
I would give Annabeth a 9/10 since she does a good job teasing and since she did it to save her friends.

I was rushing it but this time I'm going to do better.
In Harry potter Harry used the invisibility cloak to sneak out of Hogwarts ang go to Hogsmede. He ssneaked out because he didn't have a permision slip singed so he couldn't go.
In the hobbit Bilbo used the ring of invisbility which he got from Gollum. Bilbo used it to escape from Gollum during the riddle competition, using it to help the dwarves get out of the woodelves castle, sneaking in Smaug's jewel room and saving himself so he won't get imprisioned from the woodelves.
In percy jackson Annebeth had the hat of invisibility which she got from her mom Athena( goddess of wisdom), She used it to save Percy in his school when he encountered the monster at his school. When they approached at the ship Annebeth used it to sneak around to evedrop on Luke's plan. The last time she used it was when she was trying to save Percy, Clarisse, Tyson, and Grover from the cyclop's using the name nobody.
I would rate Harry Potter 7/10 because he only used it once.
Hobbit: 10/10 because he had good reasons to use it
Percy Jackson 10/10 because she used it for good reasons.

I think Percy Jackson and The Hobbit uses the invisibility the best, because in Percy Jackson, invisibility is used as way to distract and tease a person which is very funny, and in The Hobbit, invisibility is used as a way to hack in and steal something, and way to escape. In Harry Potter, invisibility is also used to escape to a place, but The Hobbit uses the invisibility more.
Percy Jackson: 10/10
The Hobbit: 10/10
Harry Potter: 8/10
PERCY JACKSON: In the Sea of Monsters (Percy Jackson), they used an invisibility cap, as a way to be invisible. The invisibly cap was used by Annabeth as a way to be pretended like a nobody, to prank/ trick Polyphemus, so that Polyphemus can be distracted so that Percy can go save Clarisse and Grover in the sealed cave.
THE HOBBIT: In The Hobbit, they used an invisibility ring, as a way to be invisible. The invisibility cap was used by Bilbo Baggins to escape the liar of Gollum, because he stole the ring from Gollum, and Bilbo also used the invisibility ring, to steal a gem from Smaug's liar. In The Hobbit, the invisibility ring was usually use to escape something because he stole something.
HARRY POTTER: In Harry Potter, they used an invisibility cloak, as a way to be invisible. The invisibility cloak, was used by Harry Potter to go to Hogsmeade to meet his friends there. Harry had to use the invisibility cloak because the school said that he had to let parent or guardians permission to go (permission form to be signed), but Harry to getter signed, so he had to use an invisibility cloak to sneak into Hogsmeade without anyone knowing.

The Hobbit = Bilbo had found a ring when he was talking to Gollum about their riddle contests and it was the exact ring Gollum was looking for on his tiny island and this exact ring helps you become invisible.
Harry Potter = Harry had received an invisiibilty cloak from his father on Christmas and it had helped him go into Hogsmeade.
Percy Jackson = Annabeth had used a magic cloak to help her distract Polyphemus when Percy was trying to sneak into his cave to save Clarisse and Grover.
The Hobbit = 7/10 because the he found it wasn't exactly fun or a different way than most books.
Harry Potter = 8/10 because Harry had receiived the cloak from his father and Harry had used it to protect his friends and Buckbeak.
Percy Jackson = 10/10 Because it was a really good way to disguise a invisbilty cloak by using a yankees cap I believe and she had used it in good ways.

In The Sea of Monsters, Annabeth uses the invisibility cap to hide from the Cyclops and let Percy sneak in.
In Harry Potter, Harry uses the invisibility cloak to sneak into Hogsmeade, and throw mud at Malfoy.
In The Hobbit, Bilbo uses the invisibility ring to get away from Gollum.
I think The Hobbit uses it the best because the ring was a big part of the book and so was Gollum. It was clever of Bilbo. As the reader, I was anxious to know if Bilbo was doing the right thing.
