The Grade 7 celebration was awesome and I had so much fun! My favourite parts were everything starting from the video till the dance and it was all wonderful. And you should 100% stick with this plan because it was awesome.

The Grade 7 celebration was a blast! You all definitely succeeded in making it a fun party. I thought it was a good idea to send the parents home for dinner and that way we got to have dinner with our friends instead of entertaining our parents. The dancing was lots of fun and a great workout! Yaaay FitKids! I think keeping semi-formal was a good idea. Whoever wanted to dress up went ahead and dressed up. Those that didn't want to dress up, didn't have to and that was really cool. One suggestion I would like to make - play more music during the whole ceremony. When kids are walking across the stage, you should play some soft music in the background and play music when everyone is taking pictures and just hanging out. Hagrid you are a great teacher!

You definitely succeeded in making the year end celebration more like a fun party. There is a reason why it is called a celebration! It is supposed to be fun and upbeat and the dance was all that and more. Plus, it was more centered around the kids rather than being really for the parents. Also, we are graduating from grade seven! It’s not like we are graduating from grade twelve or from university. Yes, there should be some sort of celebration, but it doesn’t have to be formal and expensive, it just has to be fun. I think everyone had fun at the celebration because it was more for us. The dress code was perfect because people didn’t show up dressed too fancy, but people didn’t show up looking too casual. It was absolutely fun and special for every grade seven student and their parents. My favourite parts were the showing of the legacy projects and the grade seven video, receiving my medal and obviously, the dance! The decorations were amazing as well. This format should definitely continue next year because it saves lots of money that can be put towards other things and it is a fun way to celebrate leaving elementary school. I’m sure the grade sevens next year will love it just as much as we did!

The grade 7 celebration was a blast. I think the theme should be Florda with Miami beach but instead you should have a lion king 2 theme. Some of the students will have simba, nala, kiara, scar, covu, and scar's wife.

We succeeded in making the Grade 7 celebration a fun party!!! It was nice that since it was smart casual/semi formal because the girls weren't forced to wear dresses (thank goodness) and the boys weren't forced to wear tuxedos. This celebration was very fun and special for me. I got to take pictures with all of my friends and my parents got to see my legacy project and me getting my medal. Then we got a delicious pizza dinner followed by one of the best dances we've had. I think it was fun and special for everyone. The best parts of the Grade 7 celebration were the dance and the medal ceremony. During the dance we got different colors of glowsticks which was fun because as you're dancing, you see a variety of different colors flashing around. And the medal ceremony was was fun too because it was a very special moment for parents and students because now you are officially graduated and you are getting ready to go to high school. You should definitely continue with this format next year. Since the parents aren't eating the dinner with you, there is enough food for everyone and it costs less money. And since we're not having a whole gourmet dinner, we save a lot of money too. With all the money you are saving, the Grade 7 classes can go on more field trips.

I enjoyed the format this year!.
i liked how the speeches didn't take forever. we had a speech on advice from a former student, a story from our principal and stories/advice from our fellow students. All the speeches were short and sweet.
The parents got to see the students walk on stage, get their medal and had time to take a picture.
the way the clean up and food process worked was great! while some students and parents cleaned up, others got food. so by the time everyone had their food the gym was ready for the dance.
the 20 song dance was awesome just like the last two!
It was more like a party with all the decorations, food and dance.
I DEFINITELY think this format should be used next year. It runs smoothly and makes the celebration unforgettable.

I think that you succeeded of making the year end celebration more like a fun party and it was really fun and special for me, also the year end celebration was rocking. The best part for me of the year end celebration was the theme that we decided, I liked the way we kept the Miami beach and the Disney world theme together. I think that you should continue with this format next year because it was really simple and fun.

grade 7 was a year to remember. it seemed a lot more like a party on our hard work and leadership instead a good bye party. this was an amazing evening and was full of fun. my favourite part was when we walked on to the stage. i felt proud and i didn't want the moment to end. the one thing i would change would be to have something other than taking pictures at the beginning because after pictures there was nothing left to do but walk around.

Our Underwater theme party was totally a party rather than a ceremony. We did succeed making it a party and it was super fun!!! I liked it as a party because I felt if it was a ceremony we'd feel like we have to buy new clothes that are expensive. I feel that it would turn into a gr 12 graduation instead of a gr 7 grad. We shouldn't decorate like a gr 12 grad or we wont feel as special as we would in gr 12. I really loved the jellyfish hanging from the basketball hoops and how they glowed in the dark while we were dancing. Also the glow sticks we received for dancing instead of having our names written on the paper because as people got the sticks the room started to light up and you could see everyone's silhouettes dancing the night away. I really believe you should keep it in this format because I want the future graduates to experience this amazing night like we did and not feel like it is a thing you have to go to but a thing you want to have and to enjoy it and remember it forever.

This was a great idea, first off. Having it more as a fun party made us feel more comfortable and i definitely thought that it went really smooth and casual, which was great!!! Grade 7 graduation should always be more of a party than a formal celebration, cause that's its in grade 12!!! We made sure, as grade 7s, to dress appropriately and make the best of what we have. I think that my favourite part would be the year end video, cause it brought back so many old memories. I think that we should continue on this process cause it is a lot of fun, and it is perfect for grade 7.

grad was a magical night filled with new memories i will always cherish. we had the exciting moment when we were crossing the stage and received our medals. we had an amazing dance afterwards ( and glow sticks were involved) and we all got to spend this milestone in all our lives together. i thought it was a great success
