If i was in Brian's position i would survive about a week max because I really don't have a lot of experience in the outdoors also i would probably end up dieing of food poisoning because i do not know how to tell if something is poisonous or not also i am coordinated so i would have a chance to out run the animals.

I agree!! If I don't know what is age, and what is, then I am in trouble. Especially with no wilderness skill.

If i lived in the wilderness all alone i think i would survive a couple of days but since i have a hatchet i could survive up to a week. With my hatchet I could do many things like chop wood for survival hunt animals for food and much more. I would have a lot of challenges on the way like seeing what food is poisonous or not protect myself from various weather conditions and more.

What animals would you hunt with the hatchet? You'd have to get pretty close to swing at one and it might break if you threw it.

If i were in Brian's situation i think i would survive about three days max because i have little experience in the wilderness. Although i still have my hatchet (birthday present) , so i may survive up to 5 days to a week because it is useful in helping me *hunt, *chop wood, build fires if i can find flint (a type rock) and with self defence. because i don't know how to tell what is poisonous and what i am able to eat i might fall sick and i don't have a first aid kit so i can't help my self. also i don't know how to build shelter to save me from weather conditions so i can not survive in the wilderness by my self if i were to be in brian's condition.

You make a good point about the importance of a proper shelter to survive the weather conditions.

May I start off by saying - I enjoyed reading your response to that question! I agree completely!! I wouldn't survive long, and yes, I do have an advantage with a hatchet, but I probably wouldn't know much way to use it.

As well, when you're alone in the wilderness, aid is a huge problem!! And not knowing much about the wilderness and survival skills will out me in a disadvantage, especially with the weather condidtions

Well, First off I DO NOT like being by myself. So i dont really think i could survive long. Second thing is that I have absolutely no expirience in camping or being out in the wilderness saying ive never gone camping. I wouldnt know if what i find for food is poison-us or not. Or even hunting, still if i do have a hatchet a dont know how to kill animals for food and to cook it you would need a fire which i also dont know how to do. But i can use the hatchet and cut off park and leaves for shelter. Saying all this i think i would survive a maximum of 2 days.

You make a good point about not knowing how to build a fire. Even if you could get a spark, building a fire is very difficult, especially if all the wood by the lake is wet.

i agree with every point you made, Mullet Fingers! being alone would make me go a bit crazy. the only time i went camping was at grade 6 camping, and that is nothing like brian's situation. i have very low eduction on what is poisonous or not, therefore, i would probably get very ill. im not very fast or clever, so i wont be able to hunt anything. and for cooking the animal if i did hunt one, i dont think i could cook it properly. i know how to use a hatchet for basics (i hope) but nothing else, therefore leaaving me with maybe 2-3 days.

Maybe 6 days
Because i really like those survival shiws and i
Would be able to learn from that
But 1 thing that would get in my way
Is the cold or hot temperatures

I do agree with you, but if u do watch survival shows they dont give you a completly correct outcome if the idea would work or not. For example you have probably watched how people survive by creating a fire, but in some situatians the way they showed it on tv can sometimes not be possible in real life or hard because you never really practised for this to happen and sort of forget what to do if you are panacing.

A week maybe
Because I wouldn't be able to get food, and I don't know how to identify whether if the plant is safe to eat. Also I can't make a fire, build shelter from scratch, and hunt for food. Also I would probably freeze to death or starve. In conclusion I think I would last less than a week because I can't survive outdoors by myself after a week has past I would go CRAZY.

I think i would only survive 2 days. i have no idea how to survive alone and i've never camped. I do not know how to hunt for animals and i think i wouldn't even try because i would be scared if i get attacked by another animal. i would also have to make a shelter some how. Eventually i would get frustrated and scared and i would end up killing myself

I would probably only survive 1-5 days. At first I would worry and try to collect what was happening. Then I would try and collect my resources. Anything I can find. Then I would try to find dry wood, and things that can catch fire. Then I would build a shelter. If I have time, find berries or any food. Then create a fire then sleep. I might make an imaginary friend. But i could give up soon. If I can't survive, I would poison myself. Woops!

I think i could survive atleast 2 or 3 weeks because i know how to make a fire using chopped wood rubbed together or sparking a flame with a rock and the hatchet. I would hunt for small animals for food such as birds, rabbits, squarels and maybe a bear. for shelter i would take the skin of all the animals i killed and make a hut with sticks and the skin.

If I was in Brians position, I think I would be able to survive for about one week for I have no scence of outdoor experience and I do not know what is out in the wilderness. I am able to survive because I have a large body of water which I can use to drink, to keep me from dehydrating. I also have a Hatchet with me, which I think is very useful for I can use it to cut wood and use it to make fire and shelter. I may also be able to use it to pretect myself from pretators. Sadly, I dont have outdoor experience and have no idea if there is any animals out there for me to catch and eat. Therefore I believe I can surive at least one week, in Brians position.

I think I would survive for about a week. This because, I know how i could use the hatchet, how to stay warm, know what to eat, but I wouldn't know how to get food, or water. You need water to survive or i would die of dehidration.
