I prefer books with more dialogue because it gets you more into it ad it helps you understand the book a little better. I find the book a little repetive because it repeats one worf over and over again so that confuse's the reader a bit

i agree with you captain america i like books with more dialogue as well because i like to know how how the characters think, talk and communicate. in this book Brain is all alone so i don't think i'll be getting to see how he communicates but i still think this will be a interesting novel.

Captain America, I also did not care for the repeating of one word over and over. The first couple of times it was effective. After that, it became annoying.

I agree with captain America
I don't like how the book keeps repeating the following words: The secret, pain, memory, divorce and separate. I find it confusing and strange.

I agree, the book does push the limit when it comes to repeating. I found it useful at first so I see how he felt, but after time I felt annoyed and it made me lose a little interest in relating to him

i like books with more dialouge because you get into the book more and it does not tell you everything and it leaves you thinking and makes you ask questions.

I like books with more dialogue because, I think it goes into more information into the book and depth. My opinion on Hatchets writing style is its pretty good so far. I like the way its laid out and how detailed it is.

Agreed, it is full of detail, and as many say, you get more out of reading the second time! And again, I agree, this book is layed out great! It's unpredictable and is suspenseful.

I agree that the beginning is a bit slow. It's kind of like watching a movie when you have already seen the trailer. We know what's going to happen at the start. So the adventure doesn't really begin until you get to the middle.

I agree with all you guys. i find books with dialogue more interesting because you get to see what the character is saying with their own voice rather then the narrator just explaining what the character is saying.

I like hearing the character's own voice as well. It makes it seem like the adventure is happening right now rather than a report about something that already happened. It also adds more drama and personality to the story.

I perfer books with little dialogue, and more text on what the characters are thinking. The dialogue covers the basic words, but it doesn't fill in the blanks between the lines. I perfer little dialogue because my mind, and emotion for the character changes as I know more than dialogue says. As well I find too much dialogue confusing. Overall, I prefer little dialogue and more background information because I can relate to the character, and know more about how the character is feeling, and not wht the words say.

I prefer books with more dialogue, because books with little dialogue can usually be boring. The book Hatchet has a lot of detail which I really like, but I think if it had more dialogue it would've been the perfect book. I think books with more dialogue are more interesting compared to books with little dialogue.

I prefer books with more dialogue. Its more interesting to me when people comunicate to each other in books. Its also easier to picture how they talk to each other. It helps me understand the book I'm reading when theres more dialogue.
My opinion on the writting style of Hatchet right now is ok its a pretty interesting book to me, how a 13 year old tries to control the plane by his self and is stuck on this randon island he landed on.

I like books with dialogue because books with too much narration can be really boring because its only telling you whats happening and things that are going to happen.

i really like books with alot of dialogue because it creates the story to be more interesting. i really didn't like how it was repetitive just like what everyone else is saying. i like the way its very detailed but it doesn't start off very good so it was not really a type of book i would normally read but it would still be interesting

I prefer books with more dialoge for you get to know the charcter from how they are by what there thinking but also from how they act when they are around there friends and how they talk to them. It gives you more of an understanding of the character.

I prefer books with more dialogue, because it explains the feelings/ inner self of a character (how the character feels about a situation)
When books have more dialogue there is a better chance that it doesn't have much huomour

Continued:
humor, and less serious. As the other hand the book Hatchet is more serious because Brian has just got in a situational where the plane crashed and is left alone, had no one to talk to as much!
