I do not like science fiction because I do not find it interesting. My favorite genres are comedy and romance. I have always liked comedy because I love to watch or read anything funny and I like romance because I am a huge Twilight fan, which involves romance.

Wow. Science fiction is taking a beating so far. My favorite genres are mystery and fantasy. But I do like a lot of science fiction. I prefer science fiction that blends in elements of other genres though. Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh is a good example. It starts off as a fantasy about talking mice then becomes a mystery when the rats carry a electrical cable right in front of an unresponsive cat. The flashback story of the rats being injected with steroids is pure science fiction though. It asks "what if medical science was able to..."

I usaly don't read science fiction that much but i'm into fantasy action packed adventure rather than a science book. Although so far this book has kinda changed my idea about science fiction so i might go and check out some books on science fiction and give them a try!

I read a tiny bit of science fiction but it's nothing something I do big sessions of reading on. I prefer childish comedy/a bit of adult humor. I also enjoy reading fantasy, horror and just a tiny tiny bit of drama. It is very funny to watch/read those genres.

I don't really enjoy science fiction because I don't enjoy science. I really enjoy adventure because I like getting in to the characters and making visuals in my head. I also enjoy mystery because it really makes you think and u can never put the book down.

I am not a big fan of Science- Fiction because this genre is a bit too advanced. So,I won't be able to understand half the book. I enjoy non- fiction and adventure genres for books because it usually involves interesting aspects such as mystery and murder.

I don't really enjoy science fiction because it just isn't my taste. I don't dislike it, I just don't really like and it wouldn't be my first choice, but I would read it if I had to. My favourite genres are comedy and mystery. I like comedy because of the comic relief it provides. It allows me to laugh and relax. I like mystery because of the suspense and the sitting-on-the-edge-of-your-seat feeling. I also enjoy the feeling of not wanting to put the book down because the book is so captivating and I am so into it.

I can't really say that I dislike science-fiction because I haven't really read much of it. But on the contrary I love reading boos that incorprate science-fiction concepts and twist them around a little bit. For ex,hoot and flush. They both involve wildlife preservation e.t.c But I also love reading horror, and comedy books. Basically books that are scary and make me laugh my head off. :)

I pretty much like all reading genres, but some books just don't work with me, but it's usually not because of the genre. If I had to choose, I think I would have to pick fantasy as my favorite genre.

I like science fiction because you definitely can learn from it and for me it's intresting. Is it my favorite genre? No but I don't hate and I don't love it so I'm kinda in the middle.

I think it depends on the type of book is being written and what type it is. I only understand some of the science fiction books and not all of them so I guess I do dislike science fiction books but I also like them as well. I mostly enjoy books that are full of action but with a mystery involved as well. Books that also have comedy in them with some action I enjoy too.

I LOVE Sci Fi, because it's like diving into a world of imagination and creating what you like from it. The limits are endless and there is never a lack of new material. It is my favourite genre because I love reading many Sci Fi's to see what the author has conjured up from his imagination.

I am not that big of a science fiction fan although I don't hate it. Science fiction books are all about a world of imagination and creativity and authors can come up with many amazing ideas, although science fiction books just don't give me the same amount of suspence and ciriousity as mystery books. My favorite genre is mystery because you don't know what is going to happen next and the author may put in a twist to make the ending very exelerating. Also when you are reading a good mystery book you can't put it down and you get very attached to the book and that is why I like mystery books better than science fiction

I don't love science fiction and I don't hate science fiction. I find the books and shows weird and confusing. I don't read science fiction unless I have to, so maybe if I try to read them more I will like them. The books I most enjoy and can't seem to put down are adventure/future books like the hunger games. I have read all 3 hunger games books and both divergent and insurgent. Both series are about what the future will be like and what sacrifices people have to make. The books not only involve adventure and thoughts on the future for humans, but they also include a lot of drama between the characters. The hunger games, divergent and insurgent make you think about your future and makes you feel great full for how your country's form of government works.

There are science fiction aspects to The Hunger Games. However, it is more a blend of genres. That's part of what makes it so good. It incorporates some of the best aspects of many different genres. I am a big fan of The Hunger Games trilogy as well.

I'm not really a big fan of science fiction. The books a really like are the ones that have a twist to it and get you thinking about the book. Also the ones that are very intriguing and keeps you hooked the entire time. And my absolute favourite types of books are the ones that are extraordinarily funny. I mean who doesnt like a good laugh from time to time. 5/5/2013 12:05:53 pm
I enjoy science fiction, because I find that I am able to learn about science in an interesting way. My favorite genres are mystery and action, because I LOVE getting interested in a book, show, or movie and action (fighting, etc.) and suspense help create this.

Not really because It depends if the science fiction book has suspense, comedy and/or mystery.

You have read The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo!?! I'm impressed because that is not an easy book to read (and it's translated from another language). It also deals with some very serious adult issues. It is one of my favourite mystery books though. The plot and the characters are very strong.

I can't say I dislike Science Fiction books because I've never actually read many of them. I usually watch movies that are Sci-Fi. But so far, I would say I like Science Fiction because it's a different perspective of looking at science, and i'm also enjoying "A Wrinkle in Time" as well.
